Nicole is the again the First in Tucson to earn NAR's brand new GREEN designation:

TUCSON, AZ, Nicole Brulé-Fisher with Realty Executives Southern Arizona has been awarded the National Association of REALTORS® GREEN Desgination, the only green real estate professional designation recognized and endorsed by NAR. She is the first AND only in Tucson to earn this designation. Of distinction, Nicole was also the first in Tucson to receive the EcoBroker® designation back in early 2006.

Nicole achieved this prestigious designation newly created by NAR after completing 18 hours of coursework designed specifically for Realtors® in Orlando at the NAR yearly convention. The course was completed in collaboration with a multidiscipinary team of industry experts from across the country ensuring that designees gain comprehensive knowledge of green homes and buildings and issues related to sustainability and real estate.

More specifically, Nicole was trained in understanding what makes a property green, helping clients evaluate costs/benefits of green building features & practices, distinguishing between industry rating and classification systems, listing and marketing green homes and buildings, discussing the financial incentives available, & helping a client see a property's green potential.

"As energy costs rise, along with concern for the environment, homeowners are looking for innovative ways to save money and live responsibly," said Dick Gaylord, NAR's immediate past president. NAR's Green Designation program was developed in response to growing consumer awareness and interest in the benefits of resource efficient buildings and homes. The designation helps consumers who care about energy efficiency and sustainable building practices identify Realtors® who can then identify and implement their green real estate and lifestyle goals.

As an NAR GREEN Desginee, Nicole has once again proven she has the knowledge, tools and sincere commitment when it comes to all matters related to the Green industry and real estate. Nicole was the first Realtor® in Tucson to earn the EcoBroker® designation in February 2006, and now once again, she leads the way as the first GREEN designee in Tucson.
